Destin's Emerald Coast draws people for its sugar-white sand, and this lakefront house puts you an eighteen-minute walk from the beach while offering an entirely different reason to linger at home. The infinity pool sits right at the water's edge, complete with a spa and cascading waterfall, with a poolside bar beside it – afternoons here rarely need a plan. Lake views follow you from the living room to the main bedroom, and the balcony is an easy place to watch the light change over the water at dusk. Six bikes are on hand when you're ready to venture out.

For those with reduced mobility, there's a ground floor bedroom and bathroom here.
If you're planning to fish during your stay, Florida state law requires a licence for visitors over ten years old. Licences can be picked up through Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation before or during your trip.
You'll need to bring your own beach and pool towels – bath towels and linens are for indoor use only and cannot be taken to the pool or beach.
The lead guest must be at least 25 years old.
Sea turtle nesting season runs from 1st May to 31st October – you'll need to avoid using lights on the beach and take care not to disturb any nests or turtles.
The swimming pool isn't fenced.
You’ll have access to the community amenities, including the resort pool, tennis courts, and fitness centre.
Six adult bikes are included with your stay.
The third bedroom is arranged with a queen-over-queen bunk – we think it’s best suited to children or families.
