Perched on eleven-plus private acres above Healdsburg wine country, this off-grid house earns its silence. A saltwater pool sits beneath towering redwoods, a hot tub and fire pit anchor the decks for evenings that stretch on, and valley views open up in every direction. Three separate structures – main house, detached guest room, and cabin – give a group plenty of room to breathe. Complimentary tastings at Sonoma County wineries make the surrounding landscape feel like part of the stay, not just the backdrop.

At full occupancy, one guest will sleep on the sofa bed in the living area.
The estate is made up of three separate structures – a two-bedroom main house, a detached guest room, and a one-bedroom cabin. Moving between bedrooms and shared spaces involves walking outside and navigating outdoor stairs.
If you're travelling with little ones, your host can provide a cot and high chair.
There is no central heating or air conditioning here. The main house and detached guest room use radiant floor heating and portable fans, while the cabin relies on a gas fireplace and portable fans. Evenings at this elevation tend to be cool, so pack a layer or two even in summer.
You'll enjoy complimentary tastings at select Sonoma County wineries, with six guests included per winery (four at MacRostie). Additional guests are welcome for the vineyard's standard tasting fee.
The lead guest must be at least 25 years old, and your host may ask to see a government-issued ID to confirm.
