Natural light is a real feature here – large windows fill this South End Green apartment with warmth that makes it feel like a proper base rather than a stopgap. The living area is generous enough to actually cook, eat, and unwind in without feeling cramped, and two well-proportioned bedrooms mean two people or a small family can spread out comfortably. Hampstead Heath is moments from the front door, with cafes, restaurants, and shops clustered nearby – the kind of neighbourhood where you can slow the pace or launch into London's best green space on a whim.

Local guide

About Hampstead

Hampstead is pretty irresistable. It's not right in the centre of London but it's a real oasis to come back to at the end of a day of hectic sightseeing and there's plenty to explore here in its own right. Your neighbours will be a mix of affluent intellectual types: London's top psychiatrists, book publishers, writers etc. They are attracted by Hampstead's village atmosphere, vast array of characterful period houses, independent shops and restaurants and, last but by no means least, the delights of the vast green expanses of Hampstead Heath, with its much-loved wild swimming ponds.
