Perched on the Tiber, Small Steps seems to be going at a slower pace than everything around it. Despite the bustle of the roads below, it’s easy to lose yourself during breakfast on the little balcony, watching the rowers go by on the water. The apartment isn’t flashy, but it has everything to keep you comfortable. We were particular fans of the master bedroom’s en-suite – the bath is pretty dreamy.
