Sitting within a working orange farm on the outskirts of Paternò, this villa offers something you don't easily find – countryside quiet, with Mount Etna and the Simeto River visible on the horizon. The terrace is where most of the day gets spent: barbecue lunches, long dinners as the light fades, and evenings in the private Jacuzzi. Inside, the two levels feel relaxed and well laid out for groups. Catania's baroque old town is a thirty-one-minute drive, and the trails of Mount Etna are reachable in twenty-nine – making this a fine base for exploring Sicily at your own pace.

Home truths
The entrance has two small steps, and moving between the ground floor and first floor means a staircase of twelve steps – worth keeping in mind if anyone in your group has limited mobility.
For those with reduced mobility, there's a ground floor bedroom and bathroom here.
At full occupancy, two guests will sleep on the sofa beds in bedrooms two and three. We think these beds are best suited to children.
Your host can provide a cot for little ones.
You'll need a car to get around here – the nearest bars, shops, and the Etnapolis shopping centre are about a five-minute drive away, and attractions like Etnaland and Catania require a short drive too.
There's free parking for up to one car on the driveway.
