A 19th-century villa on the Island of Elba, protected by the Tuscany Region as a building of historical and architectural interest, this is a home where history is woven into the walls – from the terracotta vaulted ceilings to a spectacular elliptical staircase. Seven bedrooms furnished with antiques sleep up to fourteen guests, while the terraces look out over the Gulf of Porto Azzurro. Pine-shaded grounds roll away from the villa towards a vineyard and a road said to have been commissioned by Napoleon, with hiking trails starting right at the door.

Host

This home is managed by Alfredo

This home is managed directly by its owner who will be your point of contact before and during your stay. Architect, 53, from Genoa, who lived abroad (Spain, UK). I cherish my family's Villa, bought in 1810 by ancestor Salvatore, a Florentine doctor who produced wine shipped by sailing boat to Genoa. As an architect, I led the villa's full renovation, garden included, respecting its history and materials - a conservative refurbishment with local materials, raising its high living standards. Villa Bacci is my paradise, where I relax with family and friends admiring stunning sea and countryside views.
