Sitting in a restored 19th-century farmhouse, this apartment in the Tuscan countryside earns its keep through original terracotta floors, wooden beams, and exposed stone that have survived intact alongside modern comforts. A covered terrace lets you linger over meals with rolling olive groves stretching out in front of you, while the kitchen and dining area share the same unhurried view across the hills. The Valdichiana Valley's patchwork of vineyards and cypress avenues is never far from sight, and Castiglion Fiorentino – a medieval hilltop town of towers and loggia – is an eight-minute walk away.
