Tucked into the 1st arrondissement, this architect-redesigned studio apartment looks out onto a leafy courtyard – a calm counterpoint to one of Paris's most storied neighbourhoods. The Louvre is just eight minutes on foot, Notre-Dame around twenty-three, and the Tuileries Garden is within easy walking distance too, so the city's great landmarks are less an expedition than a morning stroll. Inside, the home has a real sense of place – art on the walls, considered detail throughout the space – without sacrificing the comfort you'd want for a longer stay.

This is a studio apartment, so you'll be living and sleeping in one space. At 25 square metres it's a compact home – ideal for two guests who are out exploring the city most of the day, but cosy if you plan to spend a lot of time indoors.
This home isn't suitable for infants or children.
You won't find an oven here – though there is a hob. We think the small kitchenette is better suited to prepping lighter bites than large meals.
