Do you have a question about this home or the local area?
Tucked away on Calle Cappellis in the Cannaregio district, this apartment sits in a historic Venetian palazzo well away from the tourist crush – yet the Rialto Bridge is just a five-minute walk, and Piazza San Marco around ten minutes. Wake up to a direct view of the jewel-box Church of Santa Maria dei Miracoli and the canal below, framed by original wood beam ceilings overhead. A water taxi can reach you just 15 metres from the building, no bridge-crossing required – a rare convenience in a city where logistics can quickly become part of the adventure.

Home truths
There is no lift in the building, so you'll need to carry your luggage up two flights of stairs on arrival and departure.
Navigating to the apartment for the first time can be tricky – your host sends detailed directions with photos before arrival, and a water taxi can drop you directly at the nearby waterfront without crossing any bridges. We recommend travelling light if arriving by boat.
If you're travelling with a young child, your host can provide a cot at no extra charge – request it in advance. Multiple reviews also note the team is happy to assist with luggage on arrival, which makes a real difference when you're managing a pushchair and bags.
You won't find an oven here – though there is a hob. We think the kitchen is better suited to prepping lighter bites than large meals.

Venice's dwindling population is a well-known problem, but here you...
