Do you have a question about this home or the local area?
Waking up to the Renaissance marble facade of Santa Maria dei Miracoli framed in your bedroom window is the kind of detail that makes a Venice stay feel different. This top-floor apartment sits on a quiet calle in Cannaregio – far enough from the crowds to feel like a local address, close enough that the Rialto Bridge is a five-minute walk and Piazza San Marco is around ten minutes on foot. A water taxi landing just fifteen metres away, with no bridges to navigate, makes arriving with luggage almost graceful.

Home truths
The loft is on the third floor with no lift, so you'll be carrying luggage up the stairs on arrival and departure.
Being in the heart of Venice, some street and canal noise does filter in – particularly at busier times of day. Most guests find it easy to tune out, but it's worth knowing if you're a light sleeper.
If you're travelling with a baby, your host can provide a cot on request – worth arranging before you arrive.
You won't find an oven here – though there is a hob. We think the kitchen is better suited to prepping lighter bites than large meals. There also isn't a washing machine or dryer.

Venice's dwindling population is a well-known problem, but here you...
