The patio here earns its place at the centre of the stay – facing the lake, with a fire pit table and a barbecue, it's where evenings naturally end up as the Florida light fades over the water. In the morning, beach gear is already packed and waiting, so you can head straight to Vanderbilt Beach. Delnor-Wiggins Pass State Park – one of the finer stretches of sand and shelling on this coast – is nearby, and Mercato's restaurants and bars are a twenty-five-minute walk for nights when dinner needs no planning.

At full occupancy, four guests will share a bedroom, sleeping in two double beds – we think this room might be best suited to children.
The cottage is part of a multiplex building, though you'll have your own private entrance and patio. Exterior security cameras are present on the shared property.
There's one bathroom between all six of you, so a bit of coordination in the mornings goes a long way.
