Large panoramic windows carry those lake views inside too. When you do venture out, Varenna's waterfront is a twenty-nine-minute drive, and private boat tours on the lake can be arranged on request.

Home truths
The hot tub has no gate or lock, and there are some elevated areas around the villa without railings. If you're travelling with young children, keep this in mind when planning supervision.
You'll need a car to reach restaurants, supermarkets, and the centre of Varenna comfortably. The final stretch of road to the villa is narrow, and very low sports cars aren't recommended – standard cars and SUVs handle it without issue.
