Do you have a question about this home or the local area?
Tucked among towering pines in Tahoe City, this lodge is a natural base for North Lake Tahoe in every season – whether you're heading to Homewood Mountain Resort or Palisades Ski Resort, both less than fifteen minutes away. Inside, wood-clad ceilings, expansive windows, and a stone fireplace make the living room the kind of place where you'll want to linger over breakfast before hitting the slopes. A games room and entertainment room keep things lively when the weather closes in, while a deck and woodland garden mean the forest is always just outside the door.

Home truths
The internet here will likely feel slow compared to a city connection – factor that in if you're planning to work remotely or stream heavily across multiple devices.
There's free parking for up to two cars on the driveway. In winter, 4WD vehicles and snow tyres are strongly recommended – the roads around this area can be challenging in icy or snowy conditions.
Firewood is not provided, so if you plan to use the indoor fireplace, pick some up at a local grocery or hardware store before you arrive. Toiletries and paper goods are starter supplies only – top up on your first grocery run.
There's no barbecue at this home, and any use of an outdoor fire pit or fireplace is strictly prohibited due to the extreme wildfire risk in the area.
While the home can sleep up to twelve people, the maximum occupancy is ten guests.
The lead guest must be at least 25 years old.
