A gas fireplace, expansive windows, and warm hardwood floors make this Park City townhome feel mountain-lodge rather than generic ski rental. Three decks overlook a community pond and the surrounding peaks – the lower one has a private hot tub, which earns its keep after a day on the slopes. The main suite's balcony frames the mountain scenery on its own, and a dedicated fitness area means rest days have options too. Park City Mountain Resort is 1.4 miles away, with the free Park City Transit bus a short walk for easy access to Historic Main Street and beyond.

Home truths

  • Air conditioning is only available on the upper level – the middle and lower levels rely on central and radiant heat, so bear that in mind if you're visiting in warmer months.

  • Due to this home's location, we recommend hiring a car to get the most out of your stay. You'll have parking for three cars in total – one space in the garage and two on the driveway.

  • Your host provides a starter pack of essentials on arrival – paper towels, dishwasher tablets, trash bags, soap, shampoo, conditioner, lotion, toilet paper, laundry detergent, and basic condiments. You'll need to stock up on anything beyond that during your stay.

  • One of the bedrooms has a single-over-double bunk bed that can sleep up to three people – we think it might be best suited to children.

  • At full occupancy, two guests will sleep on the sofa bed in the living area.

It’s not just about the powder here, though – every winter, the Robert Redford-owned Sundance Resort hosts the eponymous film...
