Do you have a question about this home or the local area?
Perched on a hilltop above vineyards, olive groves, and cultivated fields, this villa has been part of this Umbrian landscape since the 1400s – the exposed stone and tuff walls a quiet reminder of its history. The pool looks out over the surrounding countryside, and a covered terrace beside the garden lawn invites long, unhurried lunches. The second annexe adds a panoramic terrace on its upper level, giving larger groups their own corner of the estate. Orvieto Cathedral, with its striped Gothic façade, is a thirteen-minute drive away.

Home truths
The second annexe is connected between floors by an external staircase rather than an internal one, so you'll step outside each time you move between levels – worth bearing in mind if you're allocating rooms to guests with limited mobility.
The pool is open from the last Saturday in April to the first Saturday in October.
The villa is set in the countryside a few kilometres from Orvieto, so you'll need a car to reach shops, restaurants, and the town's sights comfortably. There's parking for up to six cars on the driveway.
The twin beds in one of the main-house first-floor bedrooms can be joined into a double, and the double bed in another can be split into two singles – let your host know your preference before you arrive.
For those with reduced mobility, there's a ground floor bedroom and bathroom here.
Your host can provide a cot and high chair for little ones upon request.
