Right on the water's edge at High Rock Lake, this house is built around the kind of outdoor life that's easy to lose a few days to. Kayak from the private pier at sunrise, soak in the hot tub as the light drops across the lake, or challenge the group to a round on the putting green. When the energy calls for it, a climate-controlled games room – stocked with table tennis, shuffleboard, table football, and an arcade console – keeps things lively whatever the weather. Charlotte is around one hour away, but you may not feel the need.

One of the bedrooms sleeps up to five people in a single-over-double bunk bed and a single-over-single bunk bed – we think this room is best suited to children.
You're in a rural lakefront setting, so you'll want a car for any grocery runs or meals out – the nearest supermarket is around a thirteen-minute drive and the closest larger shops are twenty-five minutes away. Free on-site parking is available.
The path from the house down to the dock is steep and has steps – it's perfectly manageable for most adults and children, but if anyone in your group has limited mobility or finds slopes difficult, factor that in when planning your stay.
While the home can sleep up to thirteen people, the maximum occupancy is twelve guests.
