Facing Villa Ada – one of Rome's largest parks – this apartment in the Trieste neighbourhood trades the usual city-centre noise for something quieter and greener. The kitchen and dining area look out over treetops, making even a weekday breakfast feel unhurried. Double-glazed windows keep the busy main road firmly at bay, while lift access and strong wi-fi make it a sensible choice for longer stays. When you're ready to venture out, local markets and restaurants are close at hand, and the Colosseum is a nineteen-minute drive away.

Home truths
At full occupancy, two guests will sleep on the sofa bed in the second bedroom.
The apartment sits on Via Salaria, a busy main road. The double-glazed windows do a good job of keeping traffic noise out, but if you're a light sleeper you may want to keep windows closed in the morning.
A couple of guests have noted that the air conditioning in the bedrooms can be unreliable – worth checking with your host before arrival if you're visiting in summer.
The nearest metro stop is around 1.7 km away, so you'll be on foot to reach it. Regular buses run from a five-minute walk and get you into central Rome in around twenty-five minutes. We recommend factoring bus routes into your daily plans.
This is a lived-in home. You should expect some of the host's personal belongings to be present during your stay.
