Tucked down a quiet cobbled mews in South Kensington, this house puts you within a five-minute walk of the Natural History Museum and eleven minutes from the V&A – about as well-placed as London gets for cultural immersion. Inside, the ground floor earns its keep with a proper work desk, a fireplace seating area for quieter evenings, and two separate dining spots – unusual for a mews of this size. Each bedroom has its own en-suite, and the main suite takes the entire top floor. Hyde Park's lawns and lakes are around twenty-five minutes on foot when you need to decompress.
