Set on 2.4 acres above Little Pleasant Bay, this waterfront compound offers the kind of Cape Cod escape that's hard to leave behind. A heated pool sits within wraparound decking, framed by woodland and open water beyond, while a barbecue and bay-view dining area make evenings outside an easy choice. Inside, there's a media room with a pool table, a fitness space, and a mezzanine games area for when the weather turns. Kayaks are on hand for exploring the bay, and both Orleans and Chatham – with their restaurants and shops – are a short drive away.

Home truths
This home comprises a four-bedroom main house and a two bedroom guest house.
At full occupancy, at least two guests will sleep on the two double beds in the loft space.
Two of the bedrooms each sleep three people in three single beds – we think these rooms might be best suited to children.
If you're travelling with little ones, your host can provide a travel cot. Children's toys and board games are also on hand to keep younger guests entertained.
Orleans Centre and Chatham are both a short drive away – ten and fifteen minutes respectively – so you'll want a car to reach shops, restaurants, and the Cape Cod League baseball.
If you're planning to drive to town beaches, you'll need a parking sticker during peak hours. Private beach access here means you won't need one for the water in front of the home, but keep it in mind for any day trips along the coast.
While the home can sleep up to eighteen people, the maximum occupancy is sixteen guests.
