Perched right on the Malibu coast, this house puts the Pacific front and centre. From the living room, the alfresco dining terrace, and the main bedroom, the ocean is always in view. Days start with waves and end around the terrace's fire pit, with the hot tub close by for sunset dips. Private beach access comes with surfboards, kayaks, and paddle boards included, while a home theatre with its own candy bar gives the whole group somewhere to retreat when the sun goes down.

Home truths
The home is spread across multiple levels, so you'll be moving up and down stairs regularly – between the entertaining level, bedrooms, home theatre, and lower terrace. It's worth bearing in mind if anyone in your group has limited mobility.
One of the bedrooms has three double-over-double bunk beds that can sleep up to twelve people – we think it might be best suited to children or six adults.
You'll have access to a private beach along with surfboards, kayaks, paddle boards, boogie boards, and beach toys.
