A lovely, large home, stunning from the outside and impressive inside. Hardy's manages to be both luxurious and tastefully finished while retaining a homely and welcoming appeal, often a difficult balance to achieve. It has a unique layout with the communal areas and kitchen on the lower ground level and the bedrooms on the upper level, but having the huge conservatory opening onto the garden is a fantastic feature. The fifth bedroom is generally used as a sitting room but it converts perfectly into a bedroom and this is how it will be set up for guests.

Home truths
Since the photoshoot, the entrance level en-suite bathroom has been removed. There's also a deck off the terrace, a new dining room table, and an additional room. We're waiting on new photos of the space – please speak to your host for more details
Although the garden is private, it's overlooked by the building behind the home
The shower in the master bathroom is 190cm
The front bedrooms are close to Hall Road. It has regular traffic, so some noise can be heard, particularly when the windows are opened
This is a lived-in family home – expect some signs of general wear and tear, as well as some of the owner's personal belongings
The fifth bedroom on the entrance level has a Murphy bed

This home is managed directly by its owner who will be your point of contact before and during your stay. Your host is originally from the American state of North Dakota but has been living in the UK for about 20 years. She has a busy life, primarily dealing with her business of pursuing alternative energy with biomass. It's hard work, but somebody's gotta do it! She would love for you to come and enjoy her home with all of its beautiful features, just as much as her and her family does.
