In the buzzing quarter of Islington, this home sits pretty amongst its fellow Victorian townhouses. It’s less than a ten-minute walk to Upper Street, packed with bars, delis and restaurants. Join the tree-draped New Riverside Walk at the end of your road for a bit of tranquillity, or jump on the Tube at Highbury & Islington to access London’s major attractions. The apartment itself is set up for business and pleasure – one wall of the living room is dedicated to a library-like desk area, brimming with books and music. While the other end of the living room is centred around a classy fireplace and state-of-the-art home cinema system. The dining room has a grand feel, with its gilded mirror above the (working) marble fireplace and corniced ceiling. Next door, the kitchen is a different world – sparkling white surfaces and a breakfast bar seating four. If you want to take your meal outside, the communal garden has a long outdoor dining table amidst its topiary hedges. Please note all stays of 8 nights or more include complimentary weekly cleaning, linen changes and replenishment of toiletries.

About Canonbury
Canonbury is one of the most friendly and unpretentious pockets of Islington, packed full of gorgeous period houses, independent cafes and antique shops. Extremely well connected transport-wise by the Victoria Line from Highbury and Islington station, it works well as a base to explore both Central London and more villagey areas like Stoke Newington further to the East. You'll be rubbing shoulders with trendy media types and affluent young families and working out how to move here long-term yourself.
