Parisian by design, Brooklyn by location – this charming loft packs plenty of character into its compact floorplan. We love a minimalist design masterpiece as much as the next person, but we're also dedicated devotees of homes that provide a window into the life and times of the host. Thanks to the personal artwork and curious trinkets dotted throughout this unique apartment, that's exactly what you get. In addition to the artfully thrown together look so common in the French capital, there's a strong East Asian influence, with hints of North Africa and perhaps a sprinkling of South America? The Bed-Stuy neighbourhood is both attractive and historic, full of beautiful brownstones along tree-lined streets. It was the centre of New York's civil rights movement and now houses some of the most innovative independent businesses in the city for you to discover. If Manhattan is on your itinerary, then you're just over a five-minute walk from the A/C train at Utica and around twenty-five minutes into the heart of the financial district.

About Bedford-Stuyvesant

Bedford-Stuyvesant, popularly known as Bed-Stuy (sounds like Bed-Sty), is located in central Brooklyn and nudges up against ultra-hip Williamsburg. It's a neighbourhood that can feel quite different from one block to the next - pristine, historic brownstones on one leafy street and a less aesthetically-pleasing view on the next. It has always had a tight-knit community feel (lots of block parties in the summer months) and in the past decade...
