Nestled next to Parc de Montjuïc, this home is an ideal base for a couple or small family visiting Barcelona. With the Poble Sec metro station a five-minute walk away, hopping across the city is a breeze – although with its enviable location, it’s no surprise that there’s the potential for some street noise or that the apartment overlooks neighbouring buildings. This home’s not the biggest, with the second bedroom, in particular, a bit of a squeeze, and you won’t find an oven here – but with eateries on your doorstep, authentic Spanish cuisine is never far away.

Parking in Barcelona can be tricky, so we recommend sticking to the easily accessible public transport where possible.
This apartment overlooks neighbouring homes. The views aren't the most inspiring and it lacks a little privacy.
The second bedroom is small, particularly when the bed is pulled out, with limited storage space. However, it has everything you need for a comfortable night's sleep.
You won't find an oven here – though there is a hob. We think the kitchen is better suited to prepping lighter bites than large meals.
If you're travelling with little ones, your host can provide a free cot. This must be requested in advance.
There's no lift here. You'll need to be able to climb stairs to reach the entrance of the home.
