The vast window in Salici’s living room beautifully frames the Tiber, and the willows that line its banks. There’s also a balcony, allowing you to get even closer to the river. It shouldn’t be underestimated just how special a view like this is. The flat itself has a few years on it, clearly, but it’s been kept well in that time so it’s just like any other place that hasn’t specifically been designed to be rented out. There’s also a bit of noise from the road below, but that comes from being only a five-minute walk from the heart of the action.
