This Venice home is an absolute delight. The proportions and layout are lovely, it's flooded with natural light, has great eco-credentials and it has a private and peaceful outdoor space. Stylishly decorated with a mid-century modern feel, and just a five-minute drive away from the beach, this place is pretty easy to love. Its recent redesign has made it sustainable – there's solar power and an osmosis water filtration system – and created a guesthouse we'd be thrilled to call home for a while. Sit in front of the gas flame fireplace, rustle up a meal in the kitchen (it's a bit retro but we love it) and sit out under the stars in your pretty garden – the soothing...
