Not only is Snow Globe a very decent size for a studio flat, but the clever design helps make it feel even bigger. The L-shaped layout and the dividing arch create the feeling of two distinct spaces, while also distinguishing the place from your standard apartment. If vitality and bustle aren’t your thing then you might want to stay somewhere else, but if you feed off the energy of the city, both day and night, there aren’t many better places to be. You’ve even got the Eataly emporium directly across the street.

Home truths

Two people can sleep on a double sofa bed in the living room, but there's no physical barrier between that and the main bed

The building doesn't have a lift, so you'll have to climb eighteen steps to reach the first floor

We found some scuff marks on the wall by the entrance where former guests had left suitcases

The dining table feels undersized, and isn't really big enough for four people

About Garibaldi

Garibaldi takes its name from the large train station that sits on its Northern edge. It's a lovely, mainly residential neighbourhood to be based in - it's set back away from the more hectic centre, but still within easy walking distance (only a twenty minutes amble to Brera and thirty minutes to the Duomo). The neighbourhood has a few great restaurants and we especially recommend the wonderfully traditional Antica trattoria...

This home is managed by Emanuela

This home is managed directly by a business. A member of their staff will be your point of contact before and during your stay. We were really impressed by the level of service we got from Margherita and her team. They do this job full-time, so everyone knows what they’re doing, but they maintain the personal touch, which isn’t always as easy as it sounds.

This home is a Plum Guide Award winner.
