A twelve-minute stroll south of Angel tube station, this home certainly has an angelic feel with its white walls, white marble worktops, and superb use of light. There’s a wonderful use of glass in this modern flat, with floor-to-ceiling windows illuminating the tasteful open-plan living and dining space. We also love the funky bursts of colour from high-gloss furnishings, like the green dining chairs and yellow TV cabinet. This home would be ideal for some remote working – take on the nine-to-five in the dedicated office before logging off for the evening. With your own private, sheltered balcony, dinner and drinks alfresco after sunset are a must. And while local Clerkenwell and neighbouring Farringdon are somewhat business-like areas, there are plenty of hidden gems to discover when you’re off the clock. The Barbican Centre is an arts and culture hub just sixteen minutes away on foot. Not only are the exhibitions fantastic, but it’s one of the finest examples of brutalist architecture. For foodies, the vibrant street food stalls and restaurants on Leather Lane are an eleven-minute walk. Similarly, you’ve got to stop in at Exmouth Market (eight minutes from home) for top-class dining and cocktails. Please note all stays of... 8 nights or more include complimentary weekly cleaning, linen changes and replenishment of toiletries.
