Split across three separate villas, each with its own kitchen, living room and dining room, this grand estate would suit groups who enjoy extra privacy, but like to gather together for meals and sessions by the swimming pool. There are acres and acres of grounds, dotted with seating areas in the sun or shaded by pergolas. The private pool is lined with loungers and there’s a barbecue for sunny days. Each villa is a vision of traditional Tuscan charm with classic (if a little dated) furniture in grand lounges and book-lined studies ideal for those working remotely. Location-wise, it’s in the Chianti Hills, surrounded by vineyards for peace and quiet, but the bustling culture hub of Florence is just 35 kilometres away.

Home truths
The home consists of three separate villas, each with its own kitchen, living and dining room.
Your host can provide a cot and high chair for infants on request.
The owner lives on the estate and has a friendly dog.
The swimming pool isn't fenced. If you're bringing little ones, they'll need to be supervised at all times.
The swimming pool is available between 1st April and 15th October.
One of the bedrooms is a triple and two bedrooms have a single and double sharing, so some beds would be best suited to children.
Linen is changed weekly and rooms are cleaned twice weekly.
In a remote location, having a car is recommended. There is private parking for up to 10 cars within the grounds and EV charging is available.
