We love the ornate floors, coloured glass windows and stunning bookshelves at this old family home in a beautiful 130-year-old building – the whole place is full of charming details that fit together beautifully. This period apartment has plenty of modern comforts too – including stylish bathrooms. We haven't even mentioned the garden yet, which is possibly our favourite part. The fruit trees protect you from the sun, throwing dappled shade across the terrace and through the windows. Savour a candlelit supper in the warm evening breeze (your lovely hosts provide a bottle of wine). Or, use the juicer to create a delicious drink and enjoy the hamper of goodies for your first breakfast before heading out to explore the area. It's under a ten-minute walk to the Colosseum and the Roman Forum, while the Trevi Fountain is just over fifteen minutes on foot. There are an array of restaurants, bakeries and boutiques right on your doorstep too. It's no wonder this home has glowing reviews – it offers you the perfect getaway in the Eternal City.

About Monti

It's a truth universally acknowledged that in every city, there is a district just waiting to be described as expressing the spirit of the old Soho. In Rome, Monti is that place, and the connection is a fair one - although what Monti lacks in advertising agencies and mustachioed tech bros, it makes up for in creative enclaves, smoky bars and delicious places to eat. Nestled right in the heart...

Host

This home is managed by Andrea

This home is managed directly by its owner who will be your point of contact before and during your stay. Andrea and Stefania own this flat, and they also live in the same building so if anything should arise, they’ll be on hand to sort things out. We think that being so local is great, as they have lots of tips on where to go and what to eat, though they also often leave a little, edible gift in the apartment.
