This stylish home can be found in a refined part of Milan, in a classic Milanese apartment block built around a central courtyard. It’s in a great location for exploring the city with the major sights within walking distance and the Palestro metro stop just a three-minute walk away. If you want to experience how the well-heeled locals live in the chicest of cities, this is a fabulous option. The apartment itself is bright and attractive, with bold splashes of colour added to a cool monochromatic palette. There are artistic touches throughout, tying the living space to the city’s vibe – we love the giant dice stools. The bedroom is more muted, ensuring a peaceful night’s sleep after days spent seeing the sights or hitting the shops – Quadrilatero and its myriad fashion boutiques is just a seven-minute walk away. The Duomo di Milano is fourteen minutes away on foot. We recommend calling into a cafe for a breakfast pastry and a cappuccino on the way. After you’ve admired the art and the architecture, you might head towards Sforzesco Castle. It’s a twenty-three minute walk to this 15th-century castle, which houses several museums. Visit the last – unfinished – work of Michelangelo before strolling through the beautiful gardens. Stop for lunch in one of the glamorous rooftop eateries in the centre then wander over to Parco Sempione. We like to rent bikes to zip around this oasis – it’s only a seven-minute ride from the apartment. Grab a gelato and watch the locals unwind with a game of volleyball and a few beers. It’s hard to believe you’re in the centre of a bustling city.

Host

This home is managed by Manuele

This home is managed directly by a business. A member of their staff will be your point of contact before and during your stay. Manuele and his team take care of a few apartments across Milan, and we were pretty impressed with their level of professionalism. It’s a different feel to having a host renting out their own house, but you know you’re in safe hands with them.
