The Viola is a love letter to purple. We find the colour in all shapes and sizes from chairs to tablecloths, violet to lilac in this home. There’s even a purple Arne Jacobsen Swain chair, which is not something we see every day. This three-bedroom home’s got oodles of character and it’s in a great location, too. And we especially love how The Viola isn’t afraid of bright colour or mixing and matching playful elements with Danish design classics.

    This is a lived-in home, so expect to share the space with some of the host’s belongings like clothes and toys

    When we visited, the wifi wasn’t as fast as we would like it to be

    In true Copenhagen fashion, the bathroom is on the basic side

    As this is a lived-in family home, two of the three bedrooms are clearly set up for children

    This home is located on the second floor with no elevator, so be prepared for some up and down

    It is located close to Nørreport station, which can get noisy at night as it’s full of popular bars, restaurants and clubs
