Do you have a question about this home or the local area?

Overlooking the waters of Porto Venere Harbour and just a flip-flop from a small beach, this traditional home is the perfect maritime retreat. You can watch all the nautical action unfold from your bougainvillea-clad balcony. Or take a ten-minute amble along the coast to the village’s history-rich centre – it’s been declared a UNESCO World Heritage site for good reason. While the coastal-themed interiors are charming, they will feel dated for some. The bedroom layouts are a little quirky, too, with the main bedroom sleeping three and the final single bed tucked away in the hallway. But we can let that slide for a home with such a one-of-a-kind setting.

Home truths

This home sleeps six guests, with the last two guests sleeping on single beds (one in the hallway and the other in the master bedroom). We think these beds are better suited to short stays or children. The twin bedroom can be converted to a double upon request.

While the bathrooms aren't photographed, we expect the style and quality to be consistent with the rest of the home.

Pets are welcome to join you at this home on request.

This home has a steep spiral staircase to access the first-floor bedrooms, and there are external steps to access the entrance.

There is a garage which is suitable for one small car.

Although charming, the garden with a play area may feel a little tired.

About Cinque Terre

Literally translating to ‘five lands’ in English, the Cinque Terre in the Italian Riviera is, in many ways, exactly what it says on the tin. Made up of five historical fishing villages along the Ligurian coastline, the Cinque Terre is most easily reached by train, with the beautifully scenic route stopping at each village: perfect for town-hopping. And, while Manarola may be the most recognisable of the Cinque Terre locations,...

Host

This home is managed by Oliver

This home is managed directly by a business. A member of their staff will be your point of contact before and during your stay. Nearly twenty years ago, Oliver and his friend began curating the world's most unique and rustic getaways. Driven by their own unforgettable experience at a chateau, they have grown remarkably since then. Much like Plum, they believe in hand-picked luxury that doesn't break the bank.

This home is nominated for the Plum Guide Award.
