Just 250 metres from the coast, this hillside villa looks out over the Adriatic and its scattered Croatian isles. Inside, it’s rustic and welcoming, with five bedrooms in the main house and another in a self-contained annexe. Outside, you'll find shaded terraces for alfresco dining and a private pool set tucked among the trees. Everything is within walking distance – which is just as well, as cars are not allowed on Lopud. All that’s left to do is slip into island time and enjoy the view.

Home truths
There are five bedrooms in the main house and an additional bedroom in a self-contained annexe which also features its own kitchenette and bathroom.
There are around 200 steps to the villa, which due to the secluded location are uneven. It might not be the best option for those with mobility issues.
There are no cars permitted on the island of Lopud. You're just a short walk from sandy beaches and the local town with restaurants, shops and cafes.
A caretaker lives on-site in a separate building.
