Do you have a question about this home or the local area?
With rough edges, vintage pieces and sleek art to please any lover of industrial chic, this home sure does make a statement. From the cowhide recliner to the bikes hanging on the wall, it's quirky, fun and completely unique. Our favourite bit is the glasshouse kitchen – the stripy decorum and the metallic shell made us feel like we were a master chef working at the hottest new restaurant in town. Just pull up a stool and start the morning with a coffee at the breakfast bar, then head out for a day of exploring. This is a super central location, only a five-minute walk to the Elevador da Santa Justa and seven to Lisbon Cathedral. Whether you're a history buff keen on seeing the sights (Praça do Comércio is eight minutes away), a family looking for a fun day out (hop on the tram and ride up the winding hills) or just want to soak up Lisbon's vibrant culture, you'll be right in the heart of it all – plus the dining and nightlife options here are some of the best the city has to offer.

About Mouraria
With street performers, Fado shows and lots of unmissable sights, Mouraria should be at the top of your list. A trip through its narrow streets is like stepping back in time, revisiting the rich cultural background even before the great earthquake of 1755. In fact, the story goes that Fado was born in Mouraria, and it’s since made its way to the UNESCO World Heritage list. Although it’s quite central, this neighbourhood has a strong local community and an independent art scene that will show you a side of old, nostalgic Lisbon that you won’t find anywhere else.
