You’ll find this traditional Tuscan villa just a short walk from the town of Ulignano. Set on a small resort with other villas and a friendly dog wandering the grounds, you can enjoy a slice of Mediterranean life here and spend much of your time outdoors. The private garden is just the spot for an alfresco meal, while the shared gardens and communal pool help beat the Italian heat. From the garden, you’ll catch a glimpse of the towers of San Gimignano – the mediaeval town is well worth a visit, and only ten kilometres away.
