In the heart of Santa Monica, this apartment puts you mere steps from SoCal's beaches – not to mention within easy reach of shops, brunch spots, restaurants, and the famous Santa Monica Pier. The building's communal amenities are top-notch, from a fitness centre and shared swimming pool to the rooftop terrace. You'll also have access to a balcony, although it may get noisy due to the central locale. While there isn't a washing machine here and two guests will sleep on a sofa bed, we think it'll fit the bill nicely for a low-key getaway.
