Located in a beautiful Bauhaus building, we find Bauhaus Story. It’s got a clear minimalist atmosphere with some cool touches in the shape of the dark blue kitchen cabinetry, and a terrace that’s great for catching some sun rays. We love how the old wooden door to the hallway has been preserved and stands as a reminder of the historic building. Even though Bauhaus Story isn’t the most opulent in our collection, it’s got some pretty luxurious beds and linens that’ll make you sleep like a baby.

Home truths
There’s no in-person check-in, so don’t expect a local tour guide upon arrival
When we visited, we noticed a couple of scuff marks on the walls
There’s no dining table separate to the breakfast bar in the kitchen
Both the washer and dryer are kept in a separate unit that can be accessed by all residents in the building
There’s limited storage and space for unpacking in the bedroom
Guests 5 and 6 would be on a sofa bed in the living room
There’s not enough space for more than three guests to sit down and enjoy a meal at the same time
There are only seats for two people on the terrace
