A historic beach cottage wrapped in palms, with the sand just steps beyond the back garden – this Hilton Head house earns its easy reputation. Painted wood walls, a spiral staircase, and an old-fashioned kitchen lean into the lowcountry charm, while the screened porch and hammock-strung garden keep the pace decidedly unhurried. The main bedroom opens onto a private balcony with rocking chairs, and evenings tend to drift long around the outdoor barbecue. When you're ready to venture further, Pinckney Island Wildlife Refuge and the Sea Pines Resort marina are both within reach of the island.

The downstairs shower is located in the hallway rather than in a dedicated bathroom, so it offers minimal privacy.
The property to the south is currently under construction, so you may hear noise between 8am and 5pm on weekdays.
If you're travelling with little ones, your host can provide a pack-n'-play cot as standard, and a high-chair is available on request with at least twenty-four hours' notice.
There's no live TV here – you'll be streaming via your own apps, so make sure you're logged into your accounts before you arrive.
