Right on the waterfront in Pacific Beach, this bayfront house is about as close to the water as it gets – the main bedroom opens directly onto a terrace where sailboats drift across the bay, and the garden lawn steps straight onto a private sandy beach. Retractable glass doors dissolve the boundary between the living room and the bay beyond, while a covered outdoor bar with a stone fireplace makes evenings easy. The Pacific Boardwalk is a ten-minute walk away, and there's a kayak on-site when you'd rather explore the water than watch it.

To reach the third bedroom, you'll need to walk through the second bedroom – worth keeping in mind when allocating rooms, particularly for mixed groups or light sleepers.
The outdoor waterfall is currently out of order, and the rooftop lights are non-operational due to a neighbourhood ordinance, so the outdoor evening ambience differs from some listing photos.
The garage fits two small cars. If you're arriving in a larger vehicle, there is street parking just around the corner.
If you're travelling with little ones, a pack 'n' play cot and high chair are already on-site. Your host can also arrange additional baby gear through the concierge service.
Firewood is not provided, so you'll want to bring your own if you're planning to use the fireplace or fire pit.
