A private lake within the grounds is a rare thing – and at this whitewashed Temecula villa, it sits alongside a fountain-fed pool, a wood-panelled wine cellar, and a self-contained casita for guests wanting their own space. The vaulted living room opens to garden views, and after a day exploring more than forty wineries just a nine-minute drive away, the cellar comes into its own. Old Town Temecula's Western-style streets and restaurants are an eleven-minute drive, but with hiking trails and an orange orchard on the estate, you may not feel the need to leave.
