This is desert terrain, so you may encounter insects, scorpions, or snakes on the grounds. Keep doors and windows closed when the home isn't occupied and supervise any pets when they're outside, as the backyard gates have gaps wide enough for a small dog to pass through.
If you're visiting during Coachella or a festival weekend, bear in mind that road closures can extend the walk to the festival entrance to around 1.4 miles. Your host recommends arranging golf cart transfers for easier access.
