Perched on a bluff above the Oregon coast, this house puts the Pacific front and centre – from the living room, the kitchen, and the garden, the ocean is a constant presence. The wraparound sofa doubles as a storm-watching station in winter and a sunset perch in summer, while the wood-burning stove keeps things cosy when the wind picks up. Arch Cape beach is less than half a block away, with tidepools and caves at nearby Hug Point to explore. Cannon Beach – galleries, restaurants, and Haystack Rock – is a ten-minute drive when you're ready for a change of scene.
