Home truths
The home is in a rural area where wildlife and insects are a fact of life – you may encounter them indoors as well as outside, particularly after dark. It's worth bearing in mind if you're travelling with young children or pets.
If you're travelling with little ones, your host can provide a pack-n-play travel cot, and a high chair is available on request with at least twenty-four hours' notice.
Power outages can occur unexpectedly given the remote location, so it's worth having a torch to hand. The gate to the home is also currently out of order.
At full occupancy, two guests will sleep on the sofa bed in the loft.
The wi-fi can be temperamental here. It might be worth bringing a personal hotspot device with you if you know you'll need to access the internet.
