The pool and terrace are the heart of things – spend evenings out here as the sky shifts above the Santa Rosa Mountains, then gather around the fire pit once the temperature drops. An outdoor kitchen means alfresco cooking stays unhurried, and a putting green adds something extra when you're not festival-bound. PGA West's championship courses are a ten-minute drive away, and Palm Springs is forty minutes up the road.

Home truths
Due to the location of this home, you'll need a car for ease of getting around. There's parking for seven cars on the premises.
If you're visiting during Coachella or similar festivals, road closures can push the walk to the festival entrance to around 1.4 miles. Your host recommends arranging golf cart services for easier access.
If you're travelling with little ones, your host can provide a travel cot and high chair – request these at least 24 hours before arrival.
This is a desert property, so wildlife is an occasional reality outdoors. Keep doors and windows closed when you're not actively moving between spaces.
One of the bedrooms contains a single over double bunk bed.
The grass areas will be unavailable for use at the end of October while it's re-seeded for winter.
