Set among the pine forests of the Cascade Mountain foothills, this five-bedroom cabin is built around an indoor lap pool with floor-to-ceiling windows looking out into the woodland – meaning you can swim year-round while the trees stand watch. A spa sits alongside for unwinding after a day on the slopes or trails, and bicycles on site make it easy to explore Sunriver Resort's trail network. When you're ready to venture further, the Lava River Cave is about eleven minutes by car, and the Deschutes River – good for paddleboarding, kayaking, and fly-fishing – is a twenty-four-minute drive.

About Oregon
Have you seen the show Portlandia? Its quirky and eccentric parody on life in the Pacific Northwest is hilarious, and... honestly kind of accurate.
