A hand-built log cabin nestled among aspen trees, this Vail house is the kind of place where the mountains feel close and the rest of the world doesn't. The all-season sunroom with its glass ceiling is where you'll want to end each day – soak in the hot tub while the treetops frame the sky above. A separate casita gives larger groups room to breathe, and a sauna takes care of post-adventure recovery. Vail Ski Resort, with its 5,289 acres of terrain, is a thirty-five-minute drive away – and the Vail Alpine Gardens make for a gentler counterpoint when the slopes can wait.

This house is set across multiple levels with stairs and is not suitable for guests with reduced mobility.
