Two of the nine bedrooms – bedrooms eight and nine – are in a separate guesthouse rather than the main house.
The home sits at the end of roughly one mile of dirt road, so you'll want a car with reasonable ground clearance. We recommend picking up groceries and supplies before you head out, as the remote setting means town is a proper drive away. There's free parking for up to seven cars on the driveway and one in the garage.
Because of the remote rural location, occasional unexpected power outages can occur. It's worth having a torch to hand and keeping devices charged.
This home is in a rural area where wildlife and insects are common, both indoors and outdoors. It's worth supervising young children and pets after dark.
If you're travelling with little ones, your host can provide a travel cot and high chair. Request them in advance to make sure they're ready on arrival.
