From this perch on Crete’s east coast, you’ve got a panoramic view of the coastline and the endless sea. Sunset dinners are a delight on the terrace and there’s a long swimming pool to cool off during the day. It’s a little sparse in terms of decor, but the sleek, chrome kitchen has all the essentials for home-cooked meals. Bedrooms are comfortable yet minimalist, allowing the focus to be the sea view from each big window. The closest village is Roussa Ekklisia (a five-minute drive) for shops and tavernas and the buzzing coastal town of Sitia is a ten-minute drive.
