Do you have a question about this home or the local area?
Located in a central Chiado, this home's charm comes from its dark oak wood flooring, original abstract artwork, and beautifully big bathrooms. Recline on the Bordeaux chairs and take in the views of Paróquia dos Martires, a spectacular white marble church opposite. Step outside and grab a fresh pastry from historic Pastelaria Benard, or take a two-minute stroll to A Brasileira metro station to connect to the rest of the city.

Home truths
The provision of basic kitchen ingredients, crockery, cutlery and pans isn't as generous as it could be, and the quality isn't spectacular
The home could also be better equipped with essentials like bin bags, toilet paper and towels
Some of the walls have scuff marks and could do with a fresh lick of paint
Although the wall tiles in the bathrooms are well-maintained, the floors are in need of an update
Some of the rooms – the kitchen and the bathrooms in particular – suffer from a lack of natural light

About Chiado
Chiado is full of old-world charm, and is one of the best-loved parts of Lisbon. Think pastel-hued homes, cobbled streets and plenty of squares to soak up the atmosphere. There’s a slower pace of life in Chiado, which is why it’s so popular with locals. Hop on a tram to take in the open-air ruin of the Camo church, a Gothic masterpiece that was mostly destroyed in an earthquake, or hit the shops – this is one of Lisbon’s best shopping districts, after all.
